TGP: The Biggest Traffic Resource You're NOT Using

According to WebmasterGlossary.com, a TGP - or Thumbnail Gallery Post is "a list of thumbnail galleries… one of the major promotion methods for free adult sites." If this is one of the MAJOR promotion methods - then why haven't you tried your hand at TGP?
The differences between TGP and Link List submissions and the pages that are built are relatively small, but the differences in the traffic received from TGP sources versus Link List traffic can be phenomenally different! But… before you venture into the "great unknown" world of TGP traffic, gallery building and submissions, you should definitely take the time to research it a little and see what you're getting into. Remember, for every "plus" you find to something new, there are often a few "minuses" that you need to watch out for as well. Knowing what to expect ahead of time can help you avoid pitfalls when trying something new.
WHAT IS A TGP - REALLY?
Beyond the basic definitions, a TGP is comprised of listings that feature galleries of thumbnail-sized images. Those thumbnail-sized images are click-able and lead to full-size versions of the images. These galleries are similar to the galleries that free site webmasters create to submit to Link Lists - just without the "site" itself. Just think "gallery pages" and you'll understand the concept.
Now how many thumbnails are used on each gallery? Well, that depends upon the TGP or Thumbnail Gallery Program (think Link List owner site) that you submit to. Each individual TGP owner has his or her own rules that you will need to follow if you hope to get a listing and get some of that TGP traffic. READ THE RULES before you do anything else. It is a great time-saver. Never ever assume that you've got it all "down pat" and that everyone else's rules will be similar. Sure, many of the rules apply to just about every TGP site on the 'Net, but other rules are particular to the site owner's experiences and expectations about what he or she wants listed on the site.
You will find a few different issues when building gallery pages compared to building free sites for Link List traffic. One such difference is that sometimes full-sized images are NOT allowed to be on separate HTML pages - some sites require that they just pop open to the image itself. Another is that the number of advertising banners allowed on your gallery pages can be limited to just one or t banners OR links per page. This can really limit your money making opportunities so two you will really need to make the most out of that single banner spot or text link in order to make the most from each surfer.
Another difference that you will find is that TGP surfers are very free-porn savvy - especially those that have been surfing TGP Web sites for years, and know how to maneuver them without ever having to spend a cent. This is why some webmasters say that TGP traffic is the hardest to convert. It's the easiest to get - trust us here, you'll get boat loads - but webmasters who work in TGP traffic need to become savvy themselves in the areas of targeting, filtering and quick one-liner sales techniques.
