Question #17: "How much money does it take to open an adult paysite?"
A: That depends on the type of paysite you want to create and your level of experience in running an adult Internet business.
I've seen folks invest hundreds of thousands of dollars and fail miserably. I've seen others invest little, yet they've earned millions from their paysites. You simply can't throw money at a DNS server and expect to get any money back. You have to understand the market before you open a paysite. You have to know about surfers, billers, content providers, hosting providers, legal issues and documentation as well as knowing HTML. You have to know if your particular niche will have a viable, paying audience. You have to know how to market to millions with keywords and clever copy. You have to know it all if you want to run a paysite. You can invest all you want but if you're not prepared, you're worth nothing.
