Tip #9: "Watch Your Spelling & Grammar"
It is very easy to ignore those things that we consider unimportant or trivial.
When it comes to presenting your sites or galleries, it would be just as easy not to even think about spelling, or appropriate use of grammar.
Now you are thinking that there are much more important things to think about when designing and presenting your pages. Well, if they don't look nicely laid out, then your text presentation will already be handicapped. No argument there. However, if everything works well on your pages, but the text suffers from an abundance of spelling mistakes, or grammatical errors, the impression of your visitors changes.
So what if there are a few errors on a page? Consciously, or not, we tend to associate mistakes with carelessness and unprofessionalism.
Spelling mistakes, most of them anyway, can be easily detected using a word processor, but grammatical errors are much more difficult to find. You need to pay close attention. Sometimes seemingly trivial things can make the difference between a good selling pitch and a bad one. Don't take chances, if you can avoid them.
